Friday the 13th was a lucky day for us in Stockton, California. Kyle put on another fabulous show with older favorite songs, a few yet-to-be-released songs (including one he told us he was performing for the first time ever), and some great stories, as always. He'd just been to a Giants game, so there was a bit of a baseball theme to his set list, too. Here it is, different in many ways from the many other shows I've seen:

Star Spangled Banner
Whenever The Rain Falls
Change the World
Tomorrow Well Try Again
Everything I Want the World To Be (this is the one he performed for the first time)
Ballad of Dana & Mary
When He Was Young
Its Gonna Be A Great Day
No Matter What Will Be
San Francisco
Young Again
First Thing On My Mind (karaoke)
One Last Ride on the Merry-Go-Round
Wake Me Up
Before the Winter Comes / Let Me Let Go
You Will Dance Again
Tell It Goodbye (a portion of it, at least)
Petals of Peace

Thank you to hosts Lynette and Rick, who always make it a great time, and I'm hoping to see all Northern California fans at Kyle's show in Sacramento tonight!

Wow...the National Anthem! I would love to hear The Talent 's rendition of that. Heck, the entire set list is a home run, and one that  I'd like at my next show. Make a note of that, T.  Wink

I wish I'd been able to make this NoCal Triple Play weekend. Thanks for the info, Jen. As always, you're on the ball. Can I make any more baseball references? Nah, I'm out.  Grin

It was another fun-filled weekend of kv shows!  All three with different vibes but equally enjoyable.  Thanks to all who came to our show in Stockton on Friday night (the 13th!)  It was a full house with some first time listeners.  As noted in Jennifer's set list above, we were treated to a wide variety of songs.

Kyle is always so entertaining and engaging!  I encourage everyone who has contemplated hosting a show to do it!  I guarantee you will not regret it, however, I know you will want to do another one, and another one, etc.......

The show at the Luna Cafe in Sacramento on Saturday night included a special appearance by Tommy Dunbar and John Rubin.  What a fun night!

Sunday, we made the drive to Healdsburg for an afternoon show.  Beautiful setting, beautiful voice and some new stories too!  The perfect end to a musical weekend.

Thanks again, Kyle!  We look forward to your return....when is that again?

That's some set list, there!  Thank you, Jennifer and Lynette for all the details!  Every KV show is special.
