Kyle Vincent spent the best years of his childhood in Amherst, Mass so
it’s no surprise that once the pop singer-songwriter successfully
launched his career from the west coast he would return to the
picturesque Pioneer Valley in New England to put down his roots.
Vincent burst onto the music scene in 1997 with a Billboard Top
20 Hit from his eponymous debut album on Hollywood Records. Since
leaving L.A., the singer with
“pipes of pure gold” has carried east the songwriting torch
of the classic storytellers of his youth (John Denver, Cat Stevens,
Jim Croce and others were major influences) while revitalizing the genre
with his own contemporary production and topical lyrics. Even soft pop
icon Barry Manilow is a fan, calling Vincent “one of the best
singer-songwriters to come along since the heyday of Tin Pan Alley.” The
multi-instrumentalist, producer, record company owner, and ardent environmentalist
is currently putting the final touches on his tenth career release (eighth
as a solo artist). He is also booking clubs and intimate living room
concerts throughout the U.S. to promote the upcoming release.
